Message from Rector

Dear Students of  MPS Jugdambi SSS

A hearty welcome to the 2021- 2022 academic year.

After 4 months of silent corridors, empty classrooms and deserted school yards, we are enthused to welcome you all at school.

For some of you, your tryst with the academic year already started  some two weeks before, consisting of online teaching and remote learning, and now, we are delighted to have you physically back to school.

I am sure that you are anxiously awaiting the start of a new academic year but at the same time worried about the COVID-19 situation.

I would like to first reiterate that at Sharma Jugdambi SSS, we are committed to the safety of our students and staff. We are strictly following and  rigorously adhering to all sanitary measures as per the Sanitary Protocol put in place by the authorities since we want, above everything else, to keep all of you and our school safe.

Staggered Resumption [ 2 days for G7, G8, G9 Ext, G10 and G12 while 3 days for G9, G9+, G11and G13] and splitting of classes is the first step.

We are taking the necessary precautions to prevent the introduction and spread of the virus, such as:

Restricted and controlled access  to school, temperature check, sanitizer in all classrooms, soap and sanitizer in all toilets, cleaning off high-contact areas such as desks, door knobs, hand rails etc...

We also encourage parents and students to help us in implementing the Sanitary Protocol by promoting good hygienic habits such as: regular washing of hands with soap for at least 20 seconds, covering cough and sneezes and properly disposing of tissues in coverred bins, maintaining social distancing both inside and outside classrooms, use of sanitizer and staying home - if ill.

We all know that due to this COVID - 19 pandemic, we are all facing an unprecedented situation that challenges our ability to continually adjust and recalibrate to a "New Normal "

The Student blog/ website is to provide to our  students with a platform wherein the school will be able to communicate to you important information, especially Communiqués from the Ministry, and information pertaining to online teaching, school's administration or request or notes from subject teachers.

You may access this website from your home.

Please remember that we will continue to give you updates on this website throughout the year.

On behalf of the school and the staff, and in my personal stead, I wish to thank you all for your support and understanding as we venture forward to re-invent and re-engineer our school's design, endeavour and to optimise means of communication and learning for all of you. You have always been, and will always remain our priority.

With Warm Regards

S. Allgoo

Acting Rector
