Creating in 3D presented and displayed by Art & Design Grade 7 & 8 students

Sharma Jugdambi got talents!” Quote from one of our teaching staff.

In fact, Grade 7 has developed skills and competencies in assemblage using found/scrap materials to create 3D artworks.

They are very enthusiastic to share their originality, creativity and aesthetic qualities throughout this display. Assemblage is an art form usually created on a defined construction that consists of 3D elements using found objects or scrap materials.

In a highly consumerist society, the use of cardboard in our day to day life has become popular due to its versatility applications for storing and moving things. Artists are able to explore them as raw materials for artistic expressions.

Carving on soap to create interesting 3D sculpture and relief works were realized by Grade 8 art students. Sculpture may be the oldest of the arts. People carved  before they painted or designed dwellings. From shape to form, from a piece of soap to 3D forms ranging from animals, human figures and multiple others; Magic is at play.😊
